Whew.... that one has wood.

The woods all the way around are killer.... the top, fretboard... great..

But even from the back, the neck is just freakin' awesome and some fantastic grained mahogany also.

Man oh man. Great results there.

What a guitar!!!!!!

That thing is pimped out to the MAX!!!!!

That is easily a $10K guitar (if made by any other major builder)

Congratulations, Brian.

Play it (or simply look at it) in good health.

Oh yea and you can have dibs on my 170 and steiners 575 too.. but there never gonna sell...ever..

+1 :D

Thanks for all the kind sentiments!

The tone is just simply mind blowing on this guitar; it's a little on the heavy side, but it resonates and sustains like crazy!

The Tom Short Mini's are simply killer; they are mean and aggressive, yet very articulate. I try to avoid the note "blossoming" description, but it really fits well here; You hit a chord and hold it and you can hear it flourish right to the edge of wanting to feedback but doesn't, it's a really cool sound :) Played them through the Reverb Rocket, my 5E3, and the KT88 and it was just dynamite through all three!

I will try to get some sound clips recorded sometime in the near future (most likely tomorrow)

Here are a few outdoor pic's I took a little earlier to keep the porn coming (just pay no attention to the dry scorched yard, it's been very, very, dry around here):

I was at a loss for words. WoW! describes it pretty good.

The aesthetics are over the top. Every piece of wood is exquisite and tastefully blends with adjoining pieces. For such an eclectic set of woods I can't imagine how they did it but it works!

She plays like a great guitar should. Somebody took some time setting this up. The neck carve is uncanny. It looks and feels big but works naturally when playing. Very comfortable and never got in my hot-doggin' way.

The voice is beautiful. Very articulate, has a wonderful growl and bite at the same time. The three position switch evokes three different voices that all sound great AND work with the three KBP810 amps we ran it through. Overall it has luscious overtones and decay; downright musical.

I know somebody from the HOC is very proud today. Fact is that the same guy will be very happy for many years to come.

Congrats on the NGD KBP810 :icon_thumright: !

Please allow me to add my congratulations, Brian! I kept looking for something on that guitar that I didn't like, but I couldn't find anything! As special as that guitar looks to all of us here, it's gotta be 10 times more special to you, since you spec-ed it out, sat with the boys describing your dream guitar, and saw the progress as it came to life. I envy you, this has got to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a guitar player, PERIOD, but extra special for those of us who love the Heritage. Enjoy it for years to come!

I remember when KBP810 were first talking about ideas of his dream guitar. We discussed all sorts of details. He took every idea and proposed them to Heritage. Much to his surprise and mine, they accepted every detail. The final undesided part was the finish. He went back and forth and I'm stoked he chose the finish he did. I can't believe what a dream instrument it is. Congrats KBP810.
