DetroitBlues
After saving up for several months, my custom 535 order has been placed. Final specs... Heritage H-535 Wine Red Translucent finish - Rosewood Finger board Dot inlays - Marv Carve .900 to 1.000 profile - Gold Tonepros hardware - Gold Kluson Style 135G Tuners - Seth Lover pickups - Black Pickup rings, Toggle tip and Top hat Knobs - Bound Headstock - Cream Binding - Mother of pearl Inlay "The Heritage" - Heritage Case included - Pick Guard UNMOUNTED I plan on mounting a G-Style PG as I want this to resemble a late 50's ES-335 Wine Red was chosen for its ability to show the figuring of the wood. Gold Hardware IMHO accents the color nicely. I will ask the factory for pics as it progresses. I don't think I have ever been so excited about a guitar order. I'll pick her up from the factory in the Spring!
Gitfiddler
DB~ Well done, young man!! (By the way, the factory can make you the pick guard as described. I had Marv do mine and couldn't be happier)

TalismanRich
Nice call on the gold hardware and the Kluson style tuners, and the bound headstock is definitely the way to go. The wine red should look great. As for the PG, have them make you a nice bound one. Dibs on playing it next summer!!!!
pressure
You can get a Johnny Smith or a H550 shaped pickguard, in your choice of materials, wood (ebony, maple, flamed maple) with a transparent black stain, or plastic, bound or unbound. Its a Heritage. You don't need no stinkin Gibsons parts. Fab H535 Josh.
tulk1
Isn't Wine the color Marv created and debuted at one of the PSPs? In honor of his winemaking expertise? Nice color choice.
CJTopes
Anyone got a pic of a trans wine colored axe?
Blunote
Isn't Wine the color Marv created and debuted at one of the PSPs? In honor of his winemaking expertise? Nice color choice. I might be thinking of Vintage Wineburst. One of my favorite Heritage colors. And yeah, a matching wood, bound pick guard would be a great add.
